  1. This is an MS Windows 3.x tool. It provides computer-aided design help for
  2. specifying LAN components, tools, labor, and maintenance requirements.
  3. This tool also indicates design warnings and violations.

  5. 1. To install LANBuild, move all unzipped files to a subdirectory or 
  6. separate diskette.
  7.  
  8. 2. From within MS Windows program manager, select File and then Run.
  9.  
  10. 3. Specify SETUP as the executable file from the appropriate subdirectory
  11. or disk drive. Examples include A:SETUP or C:\TEMP\SETUP.

  13. 4. Once installed, invode the LANBuild icon (a time clock) and select 
  14. the PLAN command button (a rectangular with those words).
  15.  
  16. We hope this demonstration is useful to you and that you will want the
  17. full version. If you do not want LANBuild around after your trial, then 
  18. run the REMOVE routine. This will remove all of LANBuild but the 
  19. program group from within Windows; delete the group when it is highlighted.
